This movie follows the experience of Betty and her family after an episode of stroke. After being discharged from the hospital, Betty and her family were introduced to the Awareness and support program for stroke patients lead by Ashley at the Central Toronto Recreation Centre. Ashely and her team work collaboratively to establish the various challenges each of the program participants experience. Such as physical and cognitive changes developed after the stroke, life course capital variances, and caregiver burden. In the end, the inter-professional team provide some solutions to the mentioned obstacles.
