Utilizing concepts and sources from our course readings, this conflict unravels between 5 collogues from Balance Dynamics Inc, who meet for a dinner party at Nicholas condo. (Barsky, Wood, 2016), Isaac, 1999), (Spangler, 2003), and more, showcase the significance of mediation, negotiation, dispute settlement, conflict management, and listening within this conflict which are integral in connection to this conflict between these colleagues. The following conflict involves a conflict between accountant manager, social worker, business technology manager, and software developer. The conflict is ignited by their current project: Designing a “Work-from-Anywhere Optimization Plan” for their client Skyline Enterprises, a major client seeking a transition to a hybrid work model. Each colleague has their differing perspectives that clash with one another. After much dispute, and they listen without resistance (Isaac, 1999) and mediate and negotiate the conflict through and interested based approach to come to an agreement. (Barsky, 2017)
