Team 7: Unsettlement amongst Parole Members

Description

A group of five parole board members are struggling to make a decision on whether a particular offender should receive parole or not. Two members are in favor of the offender receiving parole while two other members believe he should complete his eight-year sentence. Moreover, one member is in the middle and favors both perspectives. All members have to agree upon a decision in order for the offender to be given or declined parole. Each individual member will give their opinion based on their discipline and will support their reasoning with facts and life experiences. The situation is extremely sensitive as the offender has a tragic history. Through discussion and debating, eventually the parole members will come to an agreed upon decision.
