Conflicts in the Clinic

Description

A diabetes center has been recently built in a low-income neighborhood. The clinic has been rapidly implementing a new electronic health record (EHR) documentation system but this has resulted in an overwhelming concern from the nurses and the clients. The nurses are complaining of lack of adequate training which has made daily tasks difficult due to a complicated interface. It is taking much longer than expected to collect patient information and input them into the system. Clients also feel uncomfortable with the new system fearing that their personal information might get lost or leaked. The project manager along with the security analyst was requested to evaluate the situation and help with addressing the conflicts within the clinic.
