Group 5:Conflict and Identity within Organizations

Description

After a park fire in downtown Toronto causes significant damage to an adjacent hospital, health care professionals, primarily nurses and social workers are left with no space to provide care to their patients. To help with the reconstruction of the hospital, an urban planner is hired to develop a plan to revitalize the area in a way that serves the needs of the people in the community. A community consultation meeting is held with representative hospital staff so they can provide input on the reconstruction plan. As the discussion progresses, the nurses and social workers are at odds over the distribution of space, with each party asking for more space for either party. All parties must come to a resolution together to move forward with the redesign project.
