“That’s My Money!” : This scenario takes place at a meeting within the senior housing agency, where recently they have received a massive lump sum of donation from a generous lottery winner. The challenge now is finding the best use for this money. Each program director believes that the funding would do best when used by their own department. In this conflict scene, we get to see program directors have an intense debate in order to secure funding for their programs. The conflict arises from diverse views and values rooted in differing positions and power, each emphasizing distinct interests and developmental needs. This conflict also has an interesting nuance, which is that the conflict is based solely off of principle and the greater good, as none of the conflicting parties have any personal gain but rather are in strife over what they genuinely believe to be the best option.
