Description

Ethan and Chanise represent a community organization focused on addictions and mental health, while Lori represents one serving adults with disabilities. Both organizations have submitted proposals to take over a decommissioned building from the Town of Napanee. Basel oversees both and must choose which proposal to submit, facing a conflict as both are critically needed and strongly supported by their respective employees. The conflict arises when each organization approaches Basel to advocate for their proposal. Struggling with the decision, Basel seeks guidance from Jenny and Zainab, town council members on the Committee of Human Services. The council members aim to repurpose the building for community benefit and help de-escalate the conflict. Eventually, all parties agree to allow both organizations to provide their services at the location.
