Perspectives On Foreign Aid

Description

4 university graduate friends meet up for coffee when news from the Trudeau government about a donation to a war-torn country causes a fight. 2 are in support, 2 are against it, but no mediator or compromise can be seen as things get worse and worse. (Note): Marjan follows a competing style, a highly assertive method of arguing which focuses heavily on emotional components, being above everyone else, and smothering other ideas. Huzafa follows a compromising style which focuses on a 50/50 approach; both parties get something, no one has their ideas left out. Maryam follows a collaborative approach, where she speaks and listens, she does not get emotionally involved or overpower people but she gets her point across. Elmina takes an avoidance approach, where she speaks very little and instead analyzes the argument from the sidelines until she has to say something.
