Team 8 - Pharmaceutical Ethical Dilemma on Ozempic
Description
During a fundraiser dinner, six friends engage in a debate about the practices of the unregulated distribution of Ozempic in the pharmaceutical industry. Some argue that the industry's unethical practices are harmful to those who may be diabetic as they may not be able to use ozempic as it was intended for (to treat type 2 diabetes) and will leave them vulnerable when facing shortages of that medicine. On the other hand, others may see Ozempic as a positive because it allows for rapid weight loss which may be beneficial to those who are obese or using it for cosmetic reasons.
