Description

The conflict follows a mother who is searching for treatment for her son’s mental health issues. The conflict is about two opposing routes of care as it intersects with financial constraints and personal beliefs and values. In this conflict two social workers, a psychiatrist, a nurse, a financial advisor and a psychologist, aid in navigating the system of mental health care, with the objective of providing the son with the proper care. There are two primary treatment options, medication and a therapy route, both with their own drawbacks. The conflict is further complicated by differing opinions within the team. The team must learn to collaborate effectively to find a solution that best suits the family.
