At a casual dinner party, a group of friends are at a dinner party after work, who each have unique experiences and backgrounds like Nursing, Biology, Social Work, & Business. The conversation shifts from a casual discussion to a difficult hospital case one of us dealt with today. A young girl is severely injured in a car accident and the family of the patient is heavily involved in the hospital's funding. The family is torn between the options of her care, whether it is hoping for a full recovery, organ donation, donating her body to science, or pulling the plug. It is an emotional timne for the family and this conversation raises tension between friends. Our short film will explore how we interact in conflict, emotional triggers, and the overall power of collaboration to come to a consensus.
