Team 2 - Putting Children First
Description
During an elementary school renovation, safety hazards and health risks were identified by safety inspector Jorge and occupational health nurses Anjali and Kevin. The site supervisor Camilla ignored their concerns due to budget constraints. Social worker Lydia and early childhood educator Jennifer noticed the impact on children's well-being and demanded a comprehensive plan from the construction company. Eventually, through the use of a principled negotiation approach, a plan was put in place to prioritize safety, health, and well-being, and safer construction materials were used.
